Peter sat down to chat with CentreStage about starring in Operation Mincemeat and to give some advice to drama school graduates...
Here's a sneak peek of what he had to say...
You are currently performing in the smash hit West End musical, Operation Mincemeat. How does it feel to be staring in one of London’s most popular current musicals?
It’s wonderful. I still pinch myself most days. It’s a new challenge, but one I’m relishing.
The reception to the show every night is quite staggering and the reaction I’ve had online and at stage door has been truly humbling.
It’s a brilliant show and a gift of a part. I’m loving being part of Operation Mincemeat.

The show is absolutely adored by musical theatre goers all across the world. How have you found the reaction of fans?
Yes, you’re quite right and it’s wonderful to be a part of the family. I feel guilty in a way to be jumping on the coat tails of others after all the hard work that has gone on to take the show from the fringe to the West End and Broadway and beyond.
The reaction of the fans has been incredibly positive and supportive. I’ve never been part of a show with such a fandom before. They’re unbelievably talented and I’ve been given so many brilliantly imaginative gifts at stage door that I will cherish forever.
